It does not, which means you'd have to plug that bung if it comes pre-drilled, or just not drill it out.

I believe Apikol is the only company that still sells side mounts. Boost Factory and another one whose name escapes me used to.

What if I was able to get the intercooler on the left of this picture? Would it work coming from a b5 s4?

It might work, but I don't know how much of an upgrade it would be from your stock core and you'd still need to build custom plumbing. I've heard of B6 guys running dual SMIC's instead of a front mount.

 

Yeah I have heard of people running those too. what is the stock size of my intercooler?

 

No idea, you'd have to measure it. I've never had mine out of the car.

 

the TT225hp is a bigger intercooler option. theres a few companies that make bigger side mounts. check these guys out also.

cant beat water to air, they should have an option for the stock sized smic and then just pump some coolant through it
