I bought a audi 01 1.8t and the previous owner had conventional oil on it but all previous maintainance was with full synthetic. I went to a shop and the used Pennzoil synthetic blend 5w 30.....I'm drving down to Florida from NC....Should I change to full synthetic or nothing bad is going to happen???

 

The answer is the same as in your last thread about it.

 

I would take this oppotunity to seafoam the crankcase now with this oil in it, and then switch to full synthetic. If you could do the seafoam and drive about 50 miles before you leave that would be good, or else just throw some seafoam in and plan on getting an oil change on the way up.
