vacuum/boost question
turbo housing line(is that what this is called the nipple on the turbo) yeah well is that boost or vacuum...or boost/vacuum
so ive come to realize that if the lines going to MBC are too long you lose boost along them...so is going as short as possible going to give me more??
any ideas how i can have 23 psi one day and change some stuff then put it back to how it was and now i cant find that magically 23 psi anymore[:@]its like getting to the liqour store at 9:59 and there closed..you know you gave it your best effort and they have it but you cant get it!

are you talking about the wg nipple or the banjo bolt on the compressor housing? i've never heard of the length of the line to the mbc affecting anything. but i just used the stock n75 lines that were short anyways. i have experienced different boost when the connections weren't completely tight tho
yes, the line on the compressor housing. It is a boost source for the n75 and wastegate. You have to have the boost source coming from somewhere along where there is pressure. You should only take boost pressure from there (aka swap n75 lines to mbc) or plug that line and take the boost source from the intake manifold (post TB).
okay so i shortened the waste gate hose and put the MBC (three pronged) into the inlet hose...then cut down on the compression housing hose but im using fuel lines not silicone could the fuel lines not be able to handle the boost and caving in at all?? also some mentioned to me plugging off the inlet hose hole any pros or cons to this??
those forge 3 prong mbc's suck. They are ment to sit in the intake where the n75 is. A normal mbc with an inlet and outlet work much better. A bleed style being the smoothest
not much harder than an mbc. just a little bit of extra wiring and having to go through the firewall. you can just use a better mbc if you don't want to spend the money on an ebc tho
