Default vacuum/boost question

okay so i have a 2003 audi a4 1.8tqm. I just installed the Podi boost gauge and the vac is at 5hg idle. I know this isnt normal so i got my handy tennis ball boost leak tester out. No leaks. My boost is fine its peaking at 20 which is normal for an apr tune. So with all said, my question is what else would make my vacuum so low?

Between your install and the "tune" nobody is going to be able to give you a solid answer from a forum.

We have no idea where you tapped in. To try and differ if this was pre-exisiting or something you did. Whether you are experiencing driveability issues. Alot of questions which are better answered looking at the car

Did you ensure that the gauge reads exactly zero when it's not hooked up?
