Vacuum Issues
not as much vacuum is completely normal with a big turbo. how much stuff did you delete off the intake pipe? the more vacuum lines you delete will reduce overall vacuum. with your setup, id say -19 - -16 would be ok, unless you have retained every vacuum line, which im guessing you didnt.
as for the oil in the intercooler, how do you have the crank case breather setup? is it routed back to the intake? if so this could be normal after a decent amount of mileage. if you dont have the crankcase breather routed back to the intake, the turbo seals would have to be bad as thats the only way oil can get into the intercooler.

Looks like it may be time to do the seals?
its possible. if there isnt much shaft play id think about it as long as the oil usage isnt much. there will always be some oil leakage. how much oil are you using between changes?
I haven't been using much, i can't visibly tell if my oil level has gone down. It looks the same as when i changed it.
There is almost no shaft play either.

Are you using a big enough oil restrictor? Are you feeding oil from the head or the oil filter housing? If you have to much oil pressure going to the turbo it will go through the compressor housing and into the intercooler piping.. A little oil is normal though.
Its being fed from my oil filter housing, and its a journal bearing turbo which isn't recommended being used with a restrictor.
But i have a fresh rebuilt block with about 4000 miles on it running Amsoil european synthetic. I may have pretty high oil pressure.
And that could be why it smokes on cold start and after runs it used to spray out oil on full throttle runs out of the feed bolt.

Ok, i installed the oil restrictor and during startup the smoke seemed to get worse but there is no smoke at idle so far and the at start up the car doesn't idle any different during smoke. and it usually goes away after about 15 seconds.
I can almost guarantee it is not engine related.
It has about 5k miles on it and the head was rebuilt also with new elring valve seals.
And the pvc is still that plastic housing with the l shaped pipe and i have a hose run from it to my catch can.
Let me know what you guys are thinking?
