Default Version/Model History Info

Hi,
I'm looking for some information from some of you guys on here as you appear to be the experts.
Can you tell me the difference (if there are any) between a 1996 1.8T Quattro (Engine Code AEB) and a 99 or 99.5 version?

Are there any power differences, part differences, known reliability issues. Any advice would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks.
Ross

My 99.5 is an AEB there are no power difference until (correct me if I'm wrong) 2001 where they went to 170hp. Engine wise the parts are not different, body wise and looks wise yes. Check out this link.

There are parts differences between the engine codes, such as oil pans or sprockets and the like, but off the top of my head I can't think of anything major that correlates with the model years themselves.
