What did you do to your B5 today?
What did I do to day for our B5? Ordered the following from BLAUParts for our early build 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro:
Edit: Regarding the poll about letting Phil into this thread; there should be yet another option, namely "Who the hell is Phil?"

- Audi A4 Timing Belt Kit - 1998-01 w/ 6 Cylinder 2.8L 30 Valve Engine - Basic

sounds like fun. a good father/son project. the "instructions" that come with the blau kits are pretty top notch.
Phil is a user named "Mr. Phil". made some douchey posts a while back and started to become a real pain. apparently once you attach a poll to a thread you can't get rid of it.

installed some led eyelid strips (ones that go under headlights) waiting on my halo headlights and rear leds still. washed waxed and detailed my a4 like i do every week. waiting on monday to get timing belt replaced and get rid of my brake sensor code. then its dynomat the whole car and install interior light kit and underglow for ***** and giggles.
It's one of those things... you're better off not knowing.

Spent about 24 hours over the course of Friday night --> Sunday on my A4. If this car doesn't love me back, it's the biggest bitch ever LOL.
-Put back on stock turbo and exhaust manifold (stock cat is also on, along with stock ECU/injectors/FPR/SMIC/PCV) so I can get the car to legally pass emissions and the California visual inspection. Had a leak at the banjo bolt on the turbo's coolant inlet, even with 2 new crush washers. Factory torque specs weren't enough to stop the leaking... 2-3 hours wasted just on fixing this leak.
-Installed new block breather hoses and the 034 Motorsport metal block check valve.
-Put on New South Performance intake mani spacer.
-New coolant flange. The stupid heater core inlet hose (attaches to the bottom of the coolant flange) had a worn O-ring that alone accounted for 4-6 hours of the time I spent this weekend! For reference that O-ring can be replaced by one with dimensions 7/8" x 1 1/8" (ETKA and anywhere else don't list this O-ring because it's normally part of the heater core hose assembly).
-New valve cover gasket.
-Used LLTek strut tower brace installed. It makes a difference!
