What did you do to your B5 today?
Just been looking at my 1998 Audi A4 AEB B5 1.8T Quattro for a few months just sitting in my driveway.....sad I know......I just was able to get new parts to fix it up. I bought a new radiator, new AC condenser, new timing belt kit, new 034 cooling hose kit, new crank gear, new crank gear bolt......oh still need to get a full on exhaust......and maybe a high flow cat......plus some other goodies.....
So here goes......High Flow Cali Legal Cat, 2.5 inch pipe all the way to a Wicked Flow Exhaust to DTM Tip, Timing belt kit, Crank Gear, Crank Gear Bolt, 034 Silicone Breather Hose Kit, 034 Silicone Cooling Hose Kit, Radiator, AC Condens.....oh yeah and getting today a nice O2 sensor for the Upstream....got new plugs NGK Plats
Sold it for $500 about a month ago. It wouldn't pass inspection, Steering rack was pissing fluid out so fast it would empty the reservoir in 2 days. Exhaust was rusted out. Windshield was cracked, leaking coolant from somewhere, had a horrible clunk from the rear eand when shifting. Wasn't worth my time to fix it. Parts alone were more than the car was worth.
$2800 almost 5 years ago, I got my moneys worth out of it.

Last weekend reinstalled the rebuilt ABS module and dash cluster (via ModuleMaster), as well as a new downpipe. Today I am replacing the airbag module and upper control arms. I hope that that will be it for a while in terms of repairs.
Just did some cleaning up on the car and changed the oil then I noticed that the ecu box had a loose bolt. Made me think about it so I took off the plate and the ecu says 440cc Franken turbo stage 3. This is kinda crazy because I know the car has stock boost levels and only a front mount inter cooler the previous owner said nothing of this.
Replaced idler pulley on daughter's A4. Fifteen minutes, start to finish, including putting tools away. The reason it took so long was I had to take it out and put it back in twice. The spring pin was not sticking out enough to extract.
Last week replaced my ABS module (which was rebuilt via a repair service on ebay), and today replaced the air con / heater fan bushes (again ordered via ebay). Now waiting for a replacement GPS antenna for my Head Unit / GPS. Also wondering, where the stock aerial / aerial booster is as I want to address my very poor radio reception.
I was looking to buy one Audi A5 Models. I was looking for hours a great deal that fits my budget. I found this deal https://dsrleasing.com/car-listings/...g_orderby=DESC
