I cleaned all the crap out from the previous owner. I guess he was a VERY thirsty guy! Like 20 bottles of water, a few cans, and some other random bottles.

Me too - I've had my boost gauge installed for half a year and still haven't wired the light up yet. I'll probably do that this weekend.

Holy crap, what a bargain!

Post some pics, please. My wife may choose an Avant for our Kayak hauler and I'd love to be able to show her pics of your roof rack.

I used the fuse marked 75x under the knee bolster and grounded on a bolt in the fuse panel inside the driver door. The light comes on when the car is on.

edit: I followed this http://www.goapr.com/support/boost_gauge_pod.pdf and scroll down here to see where the 75x is http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...wn-Wire-Bundle

I'm going to trim the bars today after work, then I'll take some pics and post them up. The guy who I bought them from ran them on a Toyota 4Runner, so the bars are a tad long. I've already whacked my shoulder on them three times since I put them on last night lol
