Wheel Bearing
I have a 2001 audi a4 2.8 quattro in desperate need of a new rear passenger side wheel bearing. anyone know a good and CHEAP place in the central mass area to get this replaced or somewhere online to buy the part? One garage i took it to said 100$ for the wheel bearing kit and 3 hours at 100$ a piece for a total of 400$ but that seemed high. I know it may be a diy project but im 17 with not much mechanical experience and no time (thank you high school football)
A whole rebuilt axle at NAPa is around $75, comes with bearings (you need to pack them), but comes with all you need, however, you'll get a kick out of this, the CORE for your old axle will be over $80...hahahah
And they are NOT hard to install....
Hope that helps...
