Why don't you go for monoblocks [http://gengstout.com/wp-content/gallery/benz/audi1.jpg
or pie plates?

If he's gonna go with monoblocks he definitely has to slam it first.

so i went to the VW dealer today to grab some G12, and i asked if they had any take offs, and they found a set of just rims, that looked decent for 400 dollars without tires, or some 18" wheels off one of the new CC's with the continental sport tires for 950, they wanted 850 just for the tires so for an extra 100 bucks i'd get the rims as well. considering that since they are brand new. or spend an extra 400 for a nice, but probably not as reliable aftermarkets with cheaper tires. And i've realised theres about 80K miles on the timing belt in my car, quoted around 850 for that at the dealer. i don't trust myself doing it without any prior experience with things that need such minute detailed installation and alignment procedures. what have other people payed for timing belt replacements? I suppose i need to get my car to run good, rather than look good first. i dont want a car that runs good with a snapped TB and bent valves sittin in my garage

Where do you live? I bet one of us who does this stuff on the side could handle it for you and save you some of that $850...
