Yo Morpheous, the fog grille looks like maybe a B6 or maybe a Passat?

 

I'll be bringing a bunch of heat shields and I have a ton of random interior/exterior/ engine parts so if anyone needs anything let me know!

 

Brandon, you should bring your materials and see about building some 2.8L shields. Depending on cost, I'd be down for one for the aesthetics of it.

Its whats sitting between the turbo and the inlet. It works to keep the air intake temps much much lower.

I know guys are bringing spare and extra parts,i am too.

I am looking for the cover that goes on the valve cover,it goes over the coil packs,i was told by my mechanic,that i never had one to begin with.

My auto body guy,said he noticed it wasn't there and maybe my mechanic,forgot to reinstall it.

Anyone have a spare?

 

This is probably the best news ever. THats about 3.5 hours from me, I always go up 81 when going to NY best drive ever. I was thinking of hitting the yard before i come up. If anyone needs parts now would be a good time to post it up so we can all try to make sure they get to the meet.

MELOMAN - You still need a test vehicle to make a heat shield for the 2.8 30v?

 

Jeremy told me he'd be the test subject and if it works out that means I'll have 2.8 shields for you guys too
