I plan on doing the a8 kit some time soon.. ecstuning has a sale on a pair of a8 rotors for $100. could be good if you can get tt carriers for cheap.. they also have a really great sale on fwd oem sport mufflers....
http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...aign=postreply

my winter projects include fixing it and maybe raising it up an inch.. and finishing my suede interior...

Those mufflers are really nice lookin but I'm Quattro. And I suppose to avoid being beaten to death I'll have to do the A8 BBK now instead of orbital slotted LOL

EDIT: Was just lookin at those ECS kits, at the bottom of the page it says "kit includes 2 TT carriers and 1 drilled/slotted rotor" .....typo?

the A8 BBK is one of the most if not THE most cost efficient upgrades you can do to your car. I highly recommend it.

As far as my winter projects:

-Like you, trying to find a decent exhaust shop to do a full exhaust, flex pipes back (13 years of winters have turned the pipes to swiss cheese)

-Replacing stock speakers

-Finding new wheels for the spring/summer: I really want to throw some turbo twists on the car, but I'm really open to anything

-Finishing my suede interior

-Any other issues that will no doubt pop up

Love this thread, it's great to see everyone's plans.....post up updates as everyone gets them!!!!

Glad to hear you aren't parting ways with your baby OP.

As far as my winter plans go...

1. Repair exhaust. There's a hole somewhere, it's obnoxious and I need it fixed. That'll take care of my CEL.

2. Repair my bumper. Still haven't gotten around to that yet. Got the check from insurance, just been putting it off.

3. Repair heated seats. I died this morning without them. It was bad enough I had to be up at 5 for work, nevermind my *** being an ice cube .

4. Repair cigarette lighter. ~ Done.

5. Xenon interior/license plate bulbs. Getting those for Christmas I believe.

6. Clear side markers finally!

7. New red/clear tails.

8. Other miscellaneous fun things.

... and figure 8s in empty, unplowed parking lots.

Yes, I wouldn't go to a parking lot without knowing it first. Thanks .

CCA4, glad to hear it lol. You really will love the difference the A8 setup gives. Like a couple of you, I also need to finish my suedework. Most of my work on the car will wait for spring, like my black roof - why paint it and immediately expose it to the winter? I am also probably gonna have jiggleo hook me up with a dry-carbon wrap on my center dash panel. His stuff looks killer and it'll complement the black interior pretty well. I definitely want to do the LED plate lights too, drop the rear coilovers even with the fronts, and find a set of new wheels (obnoxious, you in the market for gunmetal mesh 18s?), so when the weather breaks I'll be busy. Til then I'm just gonna keep it shiny-side-up and out of the ditches.

I wanna join in the fun.
So if you don't get the upgrades, I'm gonna fly out there and beat you with the calipers (since ImTheDevil got the rotors). and then you're gonna have to buy the two of us dinner.

aledelic -Those mufflers are cheap! I never knew they had OEM "sport mufflers". Are they really made by Audi? Anyone know how it's supposed to sound like.

My hopes and plans to be done before March

1.) Tint Windows
2.) Test Pipe
3.) Magnaflow 14815 muffler and 2.5 all the way back custom.
4.) Replace my two blown speakers
5.) Ipod hookup

And my Spring plans, before June
1.) WHEELS, but who knows what
2.) the devil eyes headlamps & 8000K HID
3.) LED tails
4.) Lowering, preferably same time I get wheels.
5.) A8/TT BBK upgrade

We'll see how it goes.
