Default Wipers problem

Hello!

Old problem came back again, last time it fixed by itself, now it started again, but much more annoying.

Whenever I turn ignition on (not starting the car) wiper starts to wipe, but they are working in some wierd interval, and it stops in middle. I start them again, and again it stops little closer to their default position, I start them once more then they stop where they should.
and now when I turn key to start the car, again wipers starts to wipe.

When I put my lever in position to wipe > pause couple of seconds > wipe, they stops normal, make a pause and start again, but when I put lever in "Off" position they start to wipe with that wierd interval.

Help!

Sounds like the stalk is corroded/dirty/otherwise failing. Pull it and clean it up and see if it starts acting right.

Restarted ECU (by unplugging battery for 45mins), tried still same, and the moment I started driving everything is back to normal.
Now is ok

wierd, intermittent. defintately a corroded terminal somewhere, id say source a wiring diagram and check for green fuzzy stuff. perhaps, anything installed recently?

this problem occured half year ago... but it fixed itself after couple of days.

I think the problem is in lever... when I shake it a bit in all directions it stops them.
