Wiring hids to headlight switch
One of the xenon bulbs on my 2000 B5 1.9Tdi S4 Optic started with flickering and is now completely dead.
The bulb on passanger side is working and i did try to switch bulbs still the left one would not light up.
Now i know its the ballast thats dead as both bulbs work perfectly on the right side headlamp.
In order to change the ballast i need to get the headlamp off which means i have to remove the bumper etc.
I was thinking if i buy one of those chinese aftermarket hid kits with h11 bulbs
and wire up the ballast seperately so the oem ballast gets isolated and new ballast gets installed somewhere in the engine room.
Is this possible to do ? Any guidance for the wiring maybe?
