Would this be legal?
Im thinking of doing my own DIY intake, the tutorial can be seen here, but i heard that it might not be legal use a breather filter in an application like that. The breather is on a pipe that leads to the secondary air pump. Would you still be able to pass emission with that?
Edit: I had the air pump mixed up with the PVC valve so i think it should be fine to run that setup, but i would still appreciate some feedback regarding this topic. Thanks.

i've never heard of any real performance change, only a change in sound, but the one guy with the auto said his car stopped downshifting after the mod
i think the best setup would be a custom heat shield with the stock duct running from the grill through the heat shield to the filter, like the one guy did except the ducting that runs to the bottom of the car is probably overkill

Sweet! Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it. Ill give it a go later on today if i find both filters. Ill just have the stock ducts running to the filter, should be more than sufficient. Ill update and tell you if i notice any changes.
there will be very little change because all b5s already have sufficient airflow going to the engine. all it will do is sound. maybe i little bit of difference. i got maybe 5 horse at most. it was very little, but it does sound really cool now
