Default YOU can do it! (auto-x)

Ran the Audi for the first time yesterday! I usually run my FC RX7 because well.. its a track monster and thats what its set up for- but its time for a new tranny in that ol thing so I took the Audi.
1999 Audi A4, 1.8t quattro manual- the best kind.
Before I got used to it, especially the overwhelmingly different AWD I was understeering all over the place. Then I started throttle braking corners and I was chasing my tail that whole damned run.. But my third and fourth heat I was all used to it.
I only got one clean run in, this track set up was tough.. there was two crossovers and if you missed any damned thing you were lost in a sea of cones!
Third run I went ***** deep fast, actually stayed in third gear a little. Second tops out around 52MPH, usually stayed in there. So needless to say I nailed like 5 cones the third heat.. Glad I dont have a front skirt!
Fourth was the best. Did the course perfect, nailed no cones- no penalties. 70.2 seconds. The average for the day for people who were actually doing the damned course right was around 75. some in the 60's some in the 80's. Best run was 61 seconds by a Mini Cooper of course. My top speed, clocked by laser- was 56, top speed of the day set by some mustang was 68.
I had some ticking after every heat, sounded like valve tick.. i am not used to racing piston engines (im all rotary, sry) so this was new to me but i am told its from thinned hot oil and is common? also today when i put the car on jacks i noticed where my sway bar mount is connected to which is also one of the motor mount brackets, that peice has shattered. it must have shattered when that sway bar bracket got banged up and after auto-x'ing it, it started to break apart. i took a big chunk of cast metal out of it
I finished first in my class. There was four cars in my specific class.
I do have driving experience though, so I could handle that 3600lb boat pretty well.
Mods- 225 wide tires on 17" rims (Wrapped with Falken Azenis, a streetable notch down from true R slicks). Exhaust. Forge DV/BOV set @ 70/30. Springs.
No chip!
I just posted this to show all yall that are scurred or dont think your car is worthy that your boat can and will handle its own down there on the course. My expectations were FAR exceeded!

you know, I actually saw a thumbnail and clicked it on the audiforums home page.. it was YOU! were pretty fricken identical in the grille.. i have your headlights sitting in my garage though.. didnt like em so I blacked out facelift one-pieces and threw HIDs in em.
i have a fake kamei grille piece, i glued in the OEM Audi emblem. looks sharp.

and to the other HP question- next to stock on the HP man. i think i have the 170HP model? and the exhaust and intake let that turbo breathe a whole lot better so maybe 180HP?
i need a damned chip

^^ Take a section of the tint out before you do that, so that people can see it.

Anyways, way to kick ***.
