well some ppl argue that 55w is too bright and will actually blind ppl, while others say it doesnt even make a difference it just draws about 60% more pwr!
IMO (not from personal experience... yet) 55w is better/brighter,
They really **** you off when turned on at the drive-in!

Saudi, the 55w bulbs are HID bulbs, not just halogens with a blue tint

I will try an upload a picture of mine with 4300K, im my honest opinion, 6000K only looks good when using projector lenses, I had them in my BMW an they looked the dogs, I then went to a ford with reflectors an the slight blue tint looked silly. 4300K on my A4 seem to be the sweet spot with a bit more output opposed to 6000K.

From the drivers seat the light is pure white, standing in front of the car they have a slight blue hue.

Fogs are Nokya 2500k halogen bulbs

I'll try to snap a couple night pics today or tomorrow.

HIDs of any temp should only be installed on projector lens' otherwise you're unsafely blinding other motorists. Don't be that guy.

Well unfortunately I am that guy, and have had them on my ford which had reflectors, however whilst I agree they are best on projectors for beam cut off, if your headlights are appropriately adjusted and set to road standard (which mine are) then they are fine. I have never once been pulled, flashed or stopped about blinding people. I am not condoning it, but merely saying if you are going to properly adjust them!

Crap - I didn't look closely enough - I chose 55w 6000k, meant to pick 35w 6000k, mainly because I don't have experience with the 55w kits. I've had 4300k, 5000k, and currently have 6000k and like the 6000k best - in my eyes, it's visibly the warmest light, very intensely white on the road. The 4300k seems "hollow" for lack of a better term. Any of them will give you excellent visibility though, but the luminosity tends to drop off more sharply across the increments above 6000k - stay in the 4300k-6000k range and you'll see very, very well.
