When having the oil level sensor changed the mechanic put in 2.5 qts extra oil. I checked once the wife got home -after driving approximately 50miles. I immediately drained the extra but two days later noticed a leak. Took back to garage who stated I have a small coolant leak and need to replace water pump. $800 estimate. Could this leak be a result of the oil overfill?

 

I can't answer your question BUT I did have the same problem recently and I was told to get the spark plugs changed and go for a long drive with lots of turns cuz if there is any oil left when you turn the smallest amount would get sucked into your engine and you will smoke which is really hard on the cats. I was told to change the spark plugs and go for a long drive. Hope this helps...
