So as of yesterday my car started to rap/knock very loudly at about 2900-5000k RPM. It really only does it if im slowly going up in RPM's. If i stomp on it then it barely happens. MY oil pressure is not low im topped off perfectly. But im not very fond of this sound. HELPPPP MEEE

 

Was the engine overheated at any point?

Try to isolate the location of the sound using a screwdriver, piece of broom handle, bearing stethoscope... etc.

Not sure how common it is on these vehicles but water pumps can make a metallic clunking knocking sound when the bushing fails. Given the track record of the 1.8T water pumps, maybe someone could weigh in as to the sound their pump makes when the impeller splits.

 

You need to scan the car for codes first, that will give you a starting point.
