It may be a LITTLE pricey just because the car IS 6 years old...but with only 43K on it you hopefully would be able to drive it for several more years to come without investing a lot of money into it.

I say go for it. I love my A4 haha.

I just got mine 2 months ago, and it had 60k miles on, its a 2003. Ive payed somewhere around 12000 with tax. so i'd say that it has a good price if its 13000. good luck.

Be sure to get all the keys fobs and service record. I had to get the service record from the dealer myself since Audi dealers don't share service record.

I bought my 2002 A4 very recently and have been lovin it! Previous owner already did 100k mile checkup (timing belt etc...) 82k miles, $9k, 3.0 6-speed manual, thing runs like a champ!

Default my expereice...

I got my 2003 a4 quattro, auto, 1.8t in sept of last year, paid 13300 with tax and all dealer fees fro the local audi dealer. It was high but it had new brakes, rotors and tires, timing belt service with replacement of water pump, all fluids changed. This would have been $2600 worth of maintenance at the dealer according to the dealer. The car was a local one owner who had kept up with all the service as required. It had 76k on it when I bought it, now has 92k (how'd it get so many miles??). repairs so far have been vacuum hose ($275!!! I have since found a new mechanic), new coil paks (free but had to pay for tow), and a replacement oil tube dipstick; the orange part that holds the dipstick, $20, I bought the part at the VW dealership and saved almost half, it's the exact same part, and I did it myself (it's about at the peak of my mechanical ability). The only downside to the car is that it was owned by a smoker and once and a awhile, I can still smell it. I love the car and will always drive an Audi if I can afford it, otherwise, plan B is below...

That being said, I recently bought a '93 civic for my son, 240k for $1800. It rides fine and everything works. That is just about a timing belt which I'll need in a few years.
