Hopefully someone can give me some feedback on the following:

My wipers sweep correctly at proper speeds. When turning the wipers off, instead of stopping in the "rest position", the wipers move back up about 3 inchs and then stop. This problem just started the other day. No work or anything done on the vehicle...nothing changed.

Any suggestion appreciated.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have the same issue.

 

I'm trying to remember. I sold the car about 6 months ago. Bought it new.

Anyway, I think I manually with not too much force tried to hold the wiper down in "rest position" as I had someone turn the wiper off. I remember doing that but I don't rememeber if it worked or not. I think it did. If it didn't work, I just lived with the wiper "resting" a couple inches above the normal rest posiition.
