2005 S-Line EURO / FLAT BLACK Simple MOD
So I wanted to make my favorite Audi look a little more COOL and newer and Fade it to (flat) black emblems. I have a 2005 A4 B6 S-Line Quattro (only way to go). I didn't know how hard it was to find aftermarket parts for this model, even on eBay. It doesn't have the same bumper, fog light grills etc. even as the S4s....or Avants (Base A4).
Everything I own is pretty much black (even my dog).
The EURO / DRL head lights and tail lights came from VIP MOTORS on eBay and Spyder. Spend, but plug and play (mostly). I have bought stuff from them since they started for all my Audis, including my B5's and my daughters MK1 TT (back when their stuff was still 'wire it yourself'), now it's all plug and play. No, I don't work for them, but their customer service is excellent. There is a caution here though on the lights-they will NOT work with HIDs. Plus, you have to pull fuse #10 if you have auto leveling headlights as I did. However, these lights are brighter than my OEM ones.
This whole MOD (WITHOUT THE LIGHTS) cost me ONE can of flat black spray paint and primer at KMART (under $3.00) and LOTS of patience and detail....and a good sharpy. Hardest part is all the clips and not to break them, plus the emblems and waiting for the paint to dry.
Other than that, it turned out fantastic in my opinion-I'm really happy with what I did (self admiration).
Let me know what you think.
