Default 3.0 Breather Hoses- PCV

I have a very minor oil leak from the front of the engine at the bottom. I removed my PCV valve, and noticed a lot of moisture residue in it. I cleaned the valve out, but I suspect there is still a lot of gunk in the hoses. How do I remove the clips to the valve covers? Any other advice for cleaning this out?

Squeeze & wiggle. A little silicone spray makes them slip out better. Be careful , if they have been on there a while they get brittle & will crack.

What about the clips at the valve cover connection? Just squeeze them both in?

Has anyone else resolved this very minor seepage by cleaning out the PCV hoses?
