I have the same problem with the same car. I bought my 2003 a4 convertible after it sat for two years with the drivers window down. Seller said it ran great but one night he tried to raise the window but it would not respond. then the battery went dead and now with a fresh battery in it most of the electronics will not work so I am also interested in the answer to your question!
