The other day I noticed that when I attempt to accelerate quickly while in 4th or 5th gear the rpm's will wind up but the car doesn't go any faster until I back out of it.....Is there a clutch adjustment or am I screwed?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Looks like your clutch is slipping. Prolly the best way to make sure is:
put it into 5th gear while going 30-35mph and press on gas, if nothing happens, then your clutch is still maybe OK, if it slips-then your clutch on its way out.

You have to buy a new clutch, good time to upgrade so go with a southbend www.kineticmotorsport.com A stage 2 is a good direct replacement and will last a lot longer because its a kevlar disc. Just make sure to break it in nicely for a few hundred miles.
Clutch labor can range anywhere from $700-$1,000
