Hey everyone, this is my first time posting, here and it seems like a pretty cool place.

I have a 2002 A4 Quattro, just recently I have noticed when its wet outside or raining heavily (I live in Seattle) the brakes are a little stiffer. I have only owned BMW's until now so I am pretty unfamiliar with Audis. Is this something I should have checked out, or is it just the rotors getting wet.

No squeeling or sounds other than I hear a slight "whoosh" when I depress the peddle, not sure if its the brake booster because the pedal only becomes stiff in rain.

 

Not a normal reaction for it to do that in the rain, i would have the system checked just in case, don't want to mess around with brakes. It could also be that you're not used to the car yet, but having it checked will give you that peace of mind.
