hello new technician here trying to learn more about about engine diagnostics i bought an a4 b6 1.8t manual and wanted to buy a project car, im working on engine managment now and my solus edge gave me some codes P1340 (CPS(G40))/ESS(G28)), P0012 (cam A (intake)-set Retarded upper limit reached- intermentent) .my lead tech said its most likely due the head is all gunked up possibly causing the interment failure engine pulls strong and timing is correct no misfires, im wondring what would be the best way to clean the motor properly so the sensor can pick up the correct timing signal and clear the CEL
