Default cel question

Here goes, haven't had any issues with CEL's but looked down and i have one today! the car runs fine, nothing out of the ordinary my boost guage reads fine too with no fluctuations. i have no idea when it came on either. sometime in the last couple of days. the only thing new with the car is i took it in a week ago and had the APR stage 1 installed, a R1 DV and new temp sensor (green top). the only other thing is i blew off my intercooler piping 2 days ago and got stranded till i popped it back on and I havent pushed it since because i have a new ic piping system being welded this week. one other thing is the day after the blow off, i was idling after start up and the idle was fluctuating a bit. i shut it down and restarted it and it was fine.....ANY SUGGESTIONS WHY I HAVE A CEL?

Scan the car and post the codes? CEL might have came on after your car was idling rough.

Default RE: cel question

i would disconnect your battery/ and or ECU. when i took my ecu out and changed some relays my CEL from my testpipe went away. of course it came back a few days later. but... you get drift. it will reset it. if it comes back.. you have a problem. it wouldnt hurt to check for codes too

if you reset you battery. dont forget to let the car do a throttle body alignment for a minute or so in the on position before you start it
