Not stuck open, it is closed and when I tried to open it this morning nothing happened except the top light on the dash blinked. When I start the car it blinks a few times too. I have seen the threads about re-setting the top by manually putting it up and down. I tried that once before when I had an issue and it made things worse because I couldn't put it all the way down manually.

Any ideas?

Funny thing is it worked once after it failed. I thought that would maybe clear any code that popped up but then it failed again. Since it worked once it is not the motor. Nor does it appear to be the sensor / potentiometer.

I guess I have to take it to the shop to see if it needs a code cleared.

Any suggestions appreciated.

 

Had it diagnosed and it looks like it's all the sensors all around and one of the motors. 2K$ minimum. I was advised to call Audi and ask if they will offer any assistance.
