There was a settlement regarding the CVT transmission lawsuit. The info can be found at https://cvtsettlement.com

From my reading this does not include anyone with miles over 100k. Which of course for a 2002 would have happened for most owners in 2010. So Audi drags this out for years, and then says your car is too old to qualify. This makes no sense at all.
Read it yourself or hire an attorney to review, but it seems like all owners are included in the lawsuit regardless of miles, and only those below 100,000 miles will get any compensation.
So I am thinking if you have over 100k plus miles you may need to ask to be excluded if you want to sue directly or join another class action suit?
Again makes no sense you are bound by the suit, but excluded by the terms? Huh?

And I see you had to request exclusion by August 12. Seemed like this was rushed trough, fixing the known problem, never ever gets done. Resolving a suit that does not really do anything to help most owners, done at lightning speed.

I am accumulating names and info for those left out of this settlement. Probably will not matter, but who knows? audi_cvt_lawsuit_over_100k at y a hoo.

im outside the limit but have never had my cvt give me any trouble. Mind you i drive like a grandma most of the time!
