Hi all,

I just got a call from my daughter. Her 2003 a4 1.8t wouldn't start. 6 month old battery. Got her jumped and her tank was empty. She filled up last night. In fact, she overfilled the tank for the first time.

Before I try to re invent the wheel, are there any know problems I should be aware of?

Got home and I dont smell 16 gallons of fuel on the street. I'm guessing the sending unit is either not working or we have wiring problems. Fun

As for the battery, I put in an amp meter and the comfort module was pulling 3 amps. When I disconnected the interior light it got down to .7 amps. I think that's a little high.

The instrument cluster and ac are each pulling .2 amps. I think those are a little high.

Thoughts?
