Default Drive Belt

Hello all. I started noticing my drive belt squealing a bit after startup. What is the procedure to check, tighten and or replace it? Maybe one of your guys has a PDF from the manual?? I have 46k on my A4. I am thinking maybe tightening the belt would do the trick since my mileage is fairly low.

There's no way to tighten it. There is a tensioner on the belt that goes bad. You could try workin the tensioner, or spraying some lube on the tensioner pulley.

Yeah I'll spray some WD on it. Too early to replace the belt and/or tensioner. It's not bad yet. I just noticed it one day and thought maybe I could tighten it.
Thanks for advice.

Wd-40 is not a lubricant, it's actually a cleaner, but it could help. The timing belt tensionser is a different part than the accessory belt tensioner. The acc belt tensioner is the one you can see, the other you can't.
