Its not the wisest use of the handbrake and it can cause some issues with the parking brake system. Usually just extra cable slack. You have to be careful that you don't break the return spring or you can lock up your rear brakes but that is kind of rare and only if you are really overusing the hand brake.

Long story short: you should be OK for occasional use, however, that is really not what the handbrake is for and you could break something.

i do them all the time on my cars in the snow in winter, or even in the rain in summer

practice and you can do some awesome 'jaw dropping' 180s lol great for a fast u-turn

the cable will likely get fairly stretched with repeated turns.

make sure to clutch in too sometimes to disconnect powertrain and let the car spin more easily

have fun!

Why not pull out your ABS module and then disable the ESP at the same time?? It should make for an exciting experience just before you slide off the road into an immovable object.

ppgoal - not if you know how to drive. i have been snow drifting for years with no problems.

ABS actually increases your stopping distance in a lot of cases. and traction control can be equally irritating

my M3 has a traction control delete so it is always off, and its great!

let me guess... you drive automatic?

Bad guess. As the signature says, MT6. I drive 30+k per year, mostly in the winter in terrible snow/ice conditions typically found in Michigan. My three kids all have cars with standards (Vue, A4, Crossfire) because they all believe in driving, not riding. I do my occasional drifting in parking lots where there is nothing to hit.
