Default ehh engine codes, misfire and lean mix.

Hi i have been looking at this site for a while now and now i have some questions.

Uhm so today i took my car in to get the codes read and it came up with:

P0171 which is a lean mixture code

then it had

P0306-P0304 which are all mis fire codes the 306 being random mis fires and 301-304 is misfires on all 4 cylinders

wondering if anyones had the same issues? or knows what the problem could be

thanks:]

Does the engine run rough? Can you hear a hissing noise like the engine is sucking in air from somewhere other than the intake?
Most likely its a large vaccum leak somewhere, or you have a broken vaccum check valve.

It runs really rough!its horrible, and there is a hissing noise my dad a mechanic and myself all heard, the mechanic suggested vaccum leak, but was not 100% because he didnt really check it since he was closed and it was a last second look over.

Vacuum leak is prolly the common problem, so id say try to fix that and see whats gonna happen.

so i found the leak...it was a vacum advance the little round black thing behind the engine that connects two vacum hoses a seal in that is bad, and getting worse, on top of it all i cant get the part anywhere because the local dealerships are the only ones who have it and they dont open again until monday:[ no fun drives this weekend!

Those are the vaccum check valves i spoke of, you can get them at both www.ecstuning.com and www.purems.com.
You have a total of 3 of them so change them all.
