Hi i'm looking for a little help here and I hope you guys can give it to me.

For the last two weeks my engine has been shaking on start up at first it was once and a while now it is pretty much all the time. If i rev the engine for about a minute everything returns to normal. While driving at almost always the 23minute mark the engine starts to shake again and when at low rpms it feels like if you were riding a bike and the chain was skipping a tooth on the gear. the engine light flashs. Sometimes the problem will go away without turning off the engine and sometimes i will have to turn it off and rev the engine for 1 to 2 minutes. The problem has been getting consistantly worse.

I have had all my coils and spark plugs changed as well as my fuel pump( it went 3 weeks ago), timing belt was changed in september and the battery is 4 months old.

I drive a 2002 A4 1.8T with 130,000km aprox 75,000 miles

any help would be great.

First step it checking the codes.

 

Okay so here are the error messages

1st p1293 f265
2nd p1602 - j271
3rd p0118
4th p0300
5th p0304
6th p0303
7th p0685

the wiring and power relay were checked and both look fine ( vw mechanic checked them)

 

Vibration = mounts. Check your motor and transmission mounts. They're filled with fluid and if broken will allow vibration. However, after 7 years of age, I would check and replace the snub mount.

 

Coil packs.

Ah yea, as stated above, coil packs. Posted before without reading everything but CEL and poor idle is coilpacks.
