Default ESP and turbo issue...

So, for about a month now when I drive my car any random distances my ESP light comes on. Restart the car. Light off, no problem. Now...this morning on my way to work I stepped on the gas on the highway and the car hesitated/sputtered and would not gain speed. Then the CEl came on. Not blicking but steady. It was like the turbo was not kicking in or the computer was preventing it from acceleratingly. )This same sort of thing happened to me when I stepped on the gas once before the turbo had warmed up.) Any thoughts?
By the way..I understand the ESP could be a separate issue. I am also worried that if I take it to the stealership they are going to figure out that I have the revo done and not cover anything. Althoug, I assume Turbo is not covered anyway.(?)

1.8t A4 Revo'ed. Upgraded DV.

I think it means that the problem is probably not the turbo but the coilpack. If it is not firing correctly I can see this feeling the same as a turbo issue. (I hope)

when u accelerate and ur coilpacks are bad the engine needs to try to create more power where there is none. tahts why whn u try to step on the gas it wont go anymore. Its limping the engine so u wont do any damage to it. When your mil light goes off or starts to flash its normally ur coilpacks or your catalytic converter. take ur car to autozone and let them scan it for u for free u can even rent the scanner out if thats what u prefer

Just got back from the stealership. The replaced the MAf sens and the Air meter. All warentee. No charge.
Although...my ESP light came on on the way home so I will have to go back. I guess if it a'int kickin codes, they can't fix it!

That's why your MAF went bad. Get rid of it. Exact same thing happened to me. I went through 2 mafs before I finally wisened up.

Really! I have never heard that. I know lots of people that have them too. Strange. I wonder why this would be.
