The A3 has it ... I drove one as a loaner for a couple of days, they are way cool. You use it like the tip, there's an automatic mode and a manual mode ... but it's not mushy like the tip and the upshifts are just about instant.
The 0-60 time is actually faster with the DSG than with the manual. I would looove to see that on an A4!

Manual is better in every way. Its alot faster and it saves gas.. I hate driving automatics, I always go for the shifter cuz I feel like im driving a gokart and its just boring. Ive been driving manual cars ever since I got my lisence and I will never drive an auto.

.....I'm just jealous he has one more gear than I do...I could use the gas savings.
My solution to the stick vs auto debate is to have one of each. 5mt audi and an auto XJ. You get the best of both worlds. Every now and then I get in the "I'm wayyyyyy tooo lazy to drive right now, but if I have to, I'll take the jeep" mood.
