Hi! I picked up a 2004 A4 1.8T on Friday and am super excited. I've owned 3 Maximas before this.
Anyways I noticed a pool of coolant under my car today. It was topped off yesterday and the resivoir is empty. I did a search to see if this was a common problem and I only found stuff on small leaks. This seemed to leak pretty fast.
Any obvious fixes or should I just take it in?

It could be coming off the J plug, I had that problem with my car. Everyday I was finding coolant under the car until I find it where it was coming. Or it could be the flange.

 

where excatly is the coolant leaking in the engine bay?

 

Sounds like the water pump.

 

just out of curiosity how many miles are on the car? also get ready if it does have a lot of miles this car amazing as it is can be reallyyyyy frustating with repairs
