Hey all. I just got a 2002 audi a4 1.8t with just over 44k miles on it and its beautiful. just wanted to know how to tell if the car has hid headlights. it has that funky looking lens in the headlights but the light that comes out is yellowish and wasnt that bright white/blue that i see on the newer cars. anyway also just had a question about routine maintenance i should perform on the car. air filter? oil change? what type of oil do you guys reccomend and how much? i wanted to start messing with the car and was wondering about who makes a good cold air intake, turbo back exhaust etc? minor mods that really unlock some power to be had in the car. thanks guys!

check your cabin air filter too. i bought mine used this april. whenmy airstarted to smell funky just recently, i was advised here to check the cabin air filter. sure enough, it was really dirtyso i replaced it and itgot rid of that foulsmell instantly.i think your supposed to change it every year? ( not 100% sure but search for it ).
