Hi I'm totally new to audi, coming from Honda/Acura. I'm looking for something different. I'm currently driving an integra and have always loved the A4's plus we get tons of snow here!!. Are there any better years of the earlier 4's to pick up? Anything to watch for:?

I also frequent the road course and would like to know the engine that better suited to the track. I think at this point Id prefer the 1.8T Thanks for any help. Ryan

 

Yeah, your on the right track, get a 1.8t because you can mod it easily, unlike the V6's. I would watch out for millage and make sure all the routine maintenance is done. If you get one with around 70k+ on it make sure they did the timing belt already or your looking at ~800 at a shop to get it done.

go with a B6 for sure, that is an Audi A4 in the 2002-2005 year range. a lot of mods out for 1.8turbo.
