Default Map Sensor Mod - help needed

I need help if anyone knows how to actually do this, i looked all over and saw a writeup on vwvortex about it but the picture basically had wires overlapping other wires so it didnt really explain anything and the written directions didnt exactly explain anything it just sounded like someone had 4 thoughts colliding and no clarification, it basically made me go WTF?!?!!? i need to make more boost i hate stock boost levels they just plain out suck, my previous car (b5 a4 1.8tq) i was running 18 psi daily, i didnt have a map sensor and honestly i hate having one it just frustrates me every time i feel my boost reach its limit, someone please help me so i dont have to sell this car and buy another b5, if you have done this mod or know how to do it please explain simply which wire goes where and basically which is the power source and how it provides signal between the ecu and map sensor so i can get my mind around it

Need more data...

Tell us which model/series you're talking about, so I can move this thread to that section, where I'm almost certain someone will have better info for you.

Are you talking about doing the diode mod so you can run higher boost levels without going into limp?

yes thats exactly what im talking about, cuz i dont have the money to get a tune that costs 600+ so a diode mod would be sufficient
