Here's one to stay on track then....

I re-ordered the sprint booster from mini-mania, as it was just too fun NOT to have it.

I also ordered the hyperflow CAI. I will install them at different times, to determine if the addition of 1 then the other makes any difference at all.

I already know the SB makes the car feel a bit quicker, but no idea if they CAI will do anything. I will let you know.

Best,

Quad

Hi folks,

I re-installed the sprint booster - NOT going back this time. Fun every time.

I also just installed the hyperflow intake. If you are hoping to get the same "oomph" out of the CAI, as the sprint booster provides, don't bother.

If you're looking for a little "kick," then go sprint booster all the way. However, if you aren't trying to get your car louder, and just want a nicer sound, then the hyperflow may be your choice (or get some 14851 magnaflow mufflers installed...)

All in all, the hyperflow is ok - makes a nice sound, but I don't think it added much "kick," at least no where near the same as the sprint booster.....

Hope that helps all you guys out there...

Quad

Ok so I've gone through most of these pages and so far I found chips and some other thingys... Has anyone ever had an experience with the Miltek or Neuspeed B6 3.0 exhaust http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/m...5-p-32374.html http://www.customcarscentral.com/neu...6--02-05-.html ??? how about this cold air intake: http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....A430/xref/base ? It seems a little pricey but at the same time I never had an Audi before so I have no experience on these.

Dude,

that's the same intake (hyperflow) I'm talking about in the post above your post...

I have a Neuspeed exhaust. I love the way it sounds on my 1.8, but I can't honestly speak for the way their 3.0 exhaust would sound.

Good info guys, thanks. I bought the Intake just waiting on it to come in. As far as the exhaust I'm probably going to go with Neuspeed being that they're a little cheaper in price and looks soberly nice. Maybe I'll even go with a custom set-up.
