My A4 Has a Mind of It's Own!?!
So I have a 2004 Audi A4 that just rolled over 65k miles. I have had the car for a little over a year with no issues until now. Over the past few weeks I have noticed that my sunroof will tilt open on its own and close on its own. It does this every so often. Almost closes as fast as it opens. Seems to close when I look up and notice it. Lol. Just Odd! Any idea of what that is about?
My second quirk is that my passenger front head light just went out after having replaced the originals about 9 months ago. Ok one light no big deal. Now my driver front turn signal is out. Today it said my driver fog light was out too! What is going on?
And the third quirk to date that started about a month ago is that my electronic stability light will come on after about 20 minutes of driving, I don't loose traction, seems likea sensor to me.
Any idea of what causes these issues or what is behind them? Could they all be related?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i have had the samw thing happen to me with my esp light i used to comeon when ever it wanted so i made a post about it and one of the member on here told me to disconnect the battery and it will reset all the computers in your car so i did and it worked haven had any problems since you should try it out.
If you try this, make sure you leave it disconnected for a few mins. Don't just pull it off, and put i back on right away. Give it like ten. Also be patient with the car when you turn it on, turn the key on without starting the engine. During this time all the computers will reset, and sensors will create new baselines for normal functions. Also things like your one touch windows, and possible even your keyless entry system will take several minutes to completely come back online. Also it would be good to have your radio code card just in case.
Ok. This sounds like a good fix for the ESP. Any insight on why my lights on after the next are failing? Also, would the sunroof fall into that disconnect the battery catergory?
Are the bulbs actually out, or is the computer just glitching and the bulbs actually still work?
They could just be burning out on their own -- I had to replace two headlight bulbs and a brake light around 50-60k.

This may help you out with your sunroof. If it doesn't try searching for phantom or ghost sunroof. That should pull up some other links.

I will def try that for the sunroof and ESP light. Any idea of why my lights are going out around the same time?
I replaced the headlight bulbs when I bought the car about a year ago. The passenger head light is out.Now the driver turn signal and driver fog light went out yoo. The bulbs are actually out. I don't know. Just seems odd. I don't mind replacing the bulbs, just don't want to keep replacing the bulbs if it's something electrical.
