Default need chipped and tuned and have no idea where to go

I'm a owner of a b6 1.8t quattro sport tipronic with few mods done nothing major. I live in Virginia and I am trying to get some more power out of this lil engine. From reaserch best way to go is chipping then running. Is there any recommendations on any good places to go in the state of Virginia or surrounding close states? Any info will be of much help and appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know VA or the surrounding area, but if you're looking for local support, I'd just look up whatever shops local to you exist that are either APR, Revo, or Unitronic dealers and just go with whichever one has the staff you like the best - on some level, they're all priced pretty similarly and do approximately the same thing, at least at stage 1 or 1+. Another good option is Motoza - they do tuning remotely and give you a cable and software to enable you to read & clear codes in addition to logging lots of parameters.
