Audi B6 3.0ltr convertible. Oil light has started coming on flashing and beeping, then goes off, then a while later ion does the same. Its got plenty of oil in it and going to do an oil change asap.
any thought?

Is it oil level or oil pressure ?

if it is the oil level light it will be the sensor, its at the front of the car underneath you can get a replacement for less than $10 from China.

If its oil pressure light it could be the sensor (next to filter) or it could be your filter is getting clogged (that is what caused mine)

 

its a big symbol of an oil can flashing up

 

If its yellow its your level sensor

if its red its either oil filter or pressure sensor
