Hello,

I have a relatively simple question, When replacing the oil pan is it completely necessary to lower the sub-frame?

I was able to unbolt it loose from everything but now there doesn't seem to be enough clearance to bring it out. Is there any other way to be able to bring it out?

I used this as a reference:
B6 1.8T Oil Pan Removal/Install DIY

I've done everything but lower the sub-frame. Along with the help of my step dad.
