Definitely quattro. Both engines have their advantages and negatives. The 1.8T can be tuned up with chips, but a failed turbo can be very expensive. The 3.0 V6 is less common, there are few performance mods, but it is generally reliable. The TB work on the 3.0 is more expensive than the 1.8T, and of course it has more plugs. In my abbreviated experience, the A4 3.0 line has more features and accessories than the sportier 1.8T. Full disclosure: I bought a 2003 A4 3.0 MT6 for my daughter with 69k and it it now at 85k. Timing belt will be replaced this spring before she takes it to college. It has been a great car although we did have to replace the cats at 79k, fortunately under warranty.

I know you guy's don't speak french but here in Quebec, canadian state know for is rough winter, we say : once you go '' quattre pattes '' ( sound like '' cat path '' in english but mean AWD ) you don't go back ... and that is true, as soon as you drive a all wheel drive car, specially in rough winter condition, there is no way you can go back ... just my opinion ...
