Question for the 3.0L Owners....

So the 3.2 is a bigger difference than just more CC's, sounds like this oiling problem would help in the timing belt snapping

very happy to hear this because my audi does the same thing and it worries me a lot. but how come
it never happens when my audi is "young"?

The 3.2L shares absolutely nothing with the 3.0L, first of all its chain driven, direct fuel injected, doesn't have the same cam adjusters, has a completely different head design, piston design, exhaust design and so on. Plus the 3.2L makes alot more power.
I couldn't tell you if no oil in the cam adjusters affects wear on the timing belt or not though.

I don't know what you're talking about, every 3.0L i did a PDI (pre delivery inspection) on did that same thing with less than 10 miles on the clock.
