hello,

i'm thinking about buying an 04 audi a4 quattro 6 SPD.
i found one in Toronto with 102,000Km (and that is KM, NOT miles) and was wondering what to look for as far as problems, gremlins, etc that some of you encountered with owning an A4...

the guy is willing to drop a grand just because the t-belt will be coming up soon (speaking of, what mileage should it be changed at?).

also i'm pretty mech. inclined and i've done t-belts on other cars; how hard is it to do on an A4 1.8t?? has anybody done one by themselves??

is there a DIY on how to do the timing belt??

i will be going tomorrow to drive it, but i wanted you guys to let me know what to look for as far as usual problems that the A4's have.

ok on my a4 i did a timing belt kit @ 75k Miles.. not km Miles. im not sure of the conversion lol.
the turbo more than likely needs replaced at 100k miles the same with the clutch if its a manual.
